Alpine, Mordor, and Frozen City are not part of this challenge.

Thank goodness. There are far too many LRMboats right now as it is during the challenge. If Alpine were part of the cycle, everyone and their grandmothers will be in a LRMboat.

Are you piloting the same mech for each game? Either way what mech or mechs do you pilot for thess score?

Be nice if everyone posted their main used mechs for this.

I've mostly been managing in a 3x UAC5 EBJ.

Looks like almost all of you are having trouble on Canyon too. Wonder why, if it's just designed so that the team is more likely to share kill credit and thus less people get 400 per play, or if it's just a small sample size.

Regardless, it's maddening being this close and just finding myself completely unable to get a win at 400 on Canyon. I completed 400 for everything but Tourmaline and Canyon in half the first day, and then the rest of that evening and all of today I just can't get a win.

Yup. Canyon is a huge problem. The dmg tends to be spread out quite evenlym as with Tourmaline. I was helluva lucky in Tourmaline too.

the only pug queue game ive completer was on forest colony, all the way to t2. a very rare and interesting game in a glass cannon ctf-im wielding 3x ac10s. this is after 2 days of fighting in the mechs i was leveling at the time. its shameful that the only way i can make any headway unless i use what i consider a troll build, so im out. if the event lasted a week i would consider going for it.

though ive mostly been focusing my efforts on cw. i only need 2 more maps for t1, forge and sulferous. t2 is somewhat unattainable, though i did achieve it once in grim portico.

seems instead of forming coordinated death squads players are being more pug like than what one usually considers normal for cw. most regular cw pugs at least know what to do. i dont blame units for using it as a chance for farming. but with half the players in lerm bots at the rear, not doing their part in tanking, seems im not getting the scores i used to.

however if i do not get anything from my efforts i am going to seriously reconsider giving pgi more money. some months ago i challenged pgi to impress me by october, when i will have some disposable income. this event has done the exact opposite of that.

Done at least, but I had to resort to using a LRM boat for Canyon Network just to scrape in at 407.

My rank of 384 (as of posting) in the queue seems to indicate that 400+ people have completed this challenge so far. Either that, or a couple of hundred of you got scores so high on some maps that it covers for you missing 1 or 2.

Still a bad idea, this challenge...very poorly though out, IMHO.

Well I'm coming 60th as of now and I haven't completed it yet because I cannot get crimson straight. Its very frustrating.

Haha, yet another one who has trouble with Canyon Network.

I had to switch to a LRM boat (EBJ 2xALRM15 2xALRM10) and I just managed to scrape by with 407.

Apologies to anyone else I might have robbed of points. Blame PGI for this goddamned challenge.

We are scraping the bottom of the toilet bowl guys.
I have seen Caustic ones and the bog twice since the challenge started. The last match on Crimson was my twelth time. I'm sick of Mining and HPG, too because I get them so f*cking often.

The second match on Viridian Bog was especialy frustrating because half my team got wrecked in the first minute and we tried to hold of against the pushing enemy.
